Linkedin may pay some of its users up to $1,500 each to settle a $13 million lawsuit and like me you may have placed that legal notice of the claim ID into your trash! So do a search for “LINKEDIN LEGAL NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT OF CLASS ACTION”
Essentially the suit claims LinkedIn members did not consent to the reminder emails when they agreed to send the invitations. The notice informs that
“You are receiving this e-mail because you may have used LinkedIn’s Add Connections feature between September 17, 2011 and October 31, 2014.”
To file a claim, enter your claim id HERE before Dec. 14, 2015. you can also apply for an ID at the bottom of that age… you have the option of opting out altogether or opting out to lay an individual claim . The final amount may run between $10 and $1500…
The final approval hearing is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2016, at 1:30 p.m.
