I met a lady yesterday who admitted that she had opted NOT to attend fashion design school because she could NOT draw! She still wanted to design but her fear of Fashion Illustration was crippling her. I felt confident that she could learn, and explained to her that the instructor could show her techniques to communicate her design to others. Yes it’s possible to learn to Illustrate and even develop your own unique style! If you show up tell them Bonnie from Brooklyn Fashion Week sent you or just ask them to point you to me … yes i’ll be there exploring my drawing skills!
